A river row
The row up the Tweed took place on sunday 25th September. Unlike most of the summer, the weather was kind to us on the day, with excellent river conditions and in the main, light winds from the west. It was only the last half mile from West Ord to Paxton which slowed, what otherwise was excellent progress up the river.
Starting at Tweedmouth a total of 13 skiffs took to the water at 10.30am and set off for the 5 mile trip, arriving at near 12.30 at Paxton House.
